Cross Border Car Hire France
Hiring a car in France and travelling across the border into a different country is becoming more and more popular. We work with all major car hire suppliers in France and can arrange cross border hire into most European Countries. Cross border car hire usually requires that the car is returned to the country of origin at the end of the rental period.
One way hire across a border is not impossible, however is more difficult. For this reason we ask that you always contact us before making a booking. Only a select few suppliers will allow the return of a vehicle to a different country. Those that do allow this require plenty of notice, so please ensure you contact us well before you plan to travel.

Usually, you can collect a vehicle in France and drive through Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Uk, Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Monaco, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, Czech Republic, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Poland without a problem, given that you make us aware of your requirements when booking. This ensures we can choose a supplier who can offer what you require.
Countries that are not listed above are not impossible but can be more difficult to arrange, please speak to our team regarding your cross border needs today.
Cross Border Rental Charges
The majority of suppliers will charge a fee for cross border car hire, this can start from as little as just €10 for the additional insurance and paperwork. However this can get more expensive as the prices depends on which countries you wish to visit.

Young Driver Car Hire
Usually if you are under 25 then you will struggle to find a rental vehicle as most suppliers don’t allow you to hire due to insurance restrictions. However we have found a supplier that will allow you both to cross border car hire and drive their vehicles at the age of 18 given that you have held your licence for a year prior to hiring with us.
Low Deposit Car Hire
We couldn’t unfortunately organise a no deposit car hire, however we came up second best and managed to arrange a low deposit. Deposits can be really irritating as you have paid for the flights and accommodate, no one wants thousands of euros held on their card after that, it could affect how much you can spend on your holiday.
Free Additional Driver
If you are crossing a border the chances are that you are going to be driving for a long period of time, you may want to take a break as driving when tired can be dangerous. If someone in the car with you at the time of rental is also eligible to hire why don’t you add them to the rental?
