At Indigo Car Hire we are proud of the service we offer to each and every one of our customers, our key focus is to ensure all customers have a excellent car hire experience when booking with us, and even after they have made the booking, our ‘after sales’ team are always on hand to answer any questions and assist in any way we can.

I live in Dubai but always use Indigo when I come to visit family in the UK. Whilst the car rental has gone up (not Indigo's fault) but due to a shortage of cars coming to the UK etc. Matt was able to ensure that I had the best service from the guys at easirent one of their suppliers at Heathrow. I had an unfortunate delay with my passport and had to extend my car hire - they gave me a very good rate to do so and the return was smooth and friendly. Genuinely recommend them - a great team!

The Best in the Car Rental Business

Matt, Cherie and the rest of the Indigo Team deserve only the highest praise. They are friendly, efficient, professional, and very good at what they do. We have used them for all our car hire in Spain and the UK for almost a decade, and in a world that is becoming increasingly online orientated there's always a friendly voice at Indigo should you need to run anything by them. Indigo have the best customer service & great cars to rent without a credit card. The process of booking is easy and they're always there available to chat and help you with any issues. The cars are always from reputable providers and we've had no issues whatsoever. We've booked 3 time with them and we will continue to use them in future.

Car Booking in Scotland

I now live in Australia but travel back to Scotland, my home every year I can, which means hiring a car each time. Having use different hire companies and hiring agencies over the last 30 years, I can truthfully say that Indigo stands out above them all for both value for money and service.I have no problem and do refer Indigo to all my friends when traveling.

Dublin Airport car rental via Easirent

Very helpful staff, Good quality vehicle and a very easy to use process. Only very small criticism was finding the shuttle bus, a phone call is required to find out you need to go to Zone 18, there are signposts telling you the direction to Zone 18 but no actual signs showing where Zone 18 actually is, but even with this very small detail it was a relatively easy process start to finish

It was such a relief to hear about Indigo, I had a car hire booking with another company, who only took credit cards and charged an insane security deposit. Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
