Where To Find Your Hired Car At Heathrow Airport
Car Hire Terminals 1-5
Since there are 5 terminals located at the airport as previously mentioned things can all get a bit confusing. We are here to help you, so please follow the link of the terminal you are arriving in for more detailed information tailored to that terminal.
Terminal 1 TW6 1AP
The car hire desks at terminal one can be found in the arrivals area located on the ground floor between bus stop number 5 and the walkway to terminal 3. In this terminal there is Avis, Budget, National, Enterprise and more.
Terminal 2 TW6 1AP
The not yet opened terminal 2 is set to be unveiled in 2014, we will keep you up to date with all the needed information in regards to this terminal when it opens.
Terminal 3 TW6 1QG
The desks are located close to the main entrance of the terminal near the coach area. The major suppliers located here include Dollar and Sixt however these require you to take a shuttle in order to get your car.
Terminal 4 TW6 3XA
The car hire companies in the terminal are all located to your right as you exit the baggage hall. There is on terminal collection points for terminal 4 making it slightly easier to get your car.
Terminal 5 TW6 2GA
The newest edition to the Heathrow terminal family, the most advance facility for the collection of hired cars. The hire centre is located in front of baggage collection on the main exit and the cars are located on Walrus Road which is just to the left as you exit the terminal.

Petrol Stations Near Heathrow Airport
Some suppliers will require you the return the car with a full tank of petrol. Don’t worry there are several petrol stations around the Airport with several of them being open for 24 hours. Some of the petrol stations are, Shell, Esso & Eg.
Driving In London
If you plan to travel to London once you have picked up your car it will take approximately an hour to get there, depending on the traffic. Like many other big cities London can be difficult to drive in, make sure to keep a lookout for “C” marked zones as this is a congestion zone and you will be charged a fee for entering.

Great service. Lady at Heathrow was fantastic.
I have been using Cherie and her fantastic team at Indigo since they first started. I rent cars on a regular basis both for business and leisure and Indigo has always come up with the goods - in the UK, France, Germany, Australia. I live in the south of France and I even use Indigo to get cars here. On several occasions staff in the pick-up agencies have asked how I had got such a good deal as they couldn't have offered me the same. On the very odd occasion (only two) over the years when there has been a glitch - never Indigo's fault, I hasten to add - one call to them and immediately problem solved. Exceptional customer service is their mantra and they actually live up to it. Indigo is my one-stop shop whenever I need a car.
