Not extremely popular within the UK but are an everyday car on American roads, Chryslers are becoming increasingly popular hired cars becoming more and more prominent. In America Chrysler are considered one of the best and most common brands of car, and soon enough they will capture this audience elsewhere. They produced all types of vehicles from Mini groupslike the new Ypsilon all the way to the large 4x4s like the Aspen model.

Chrysler History

With Headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, Chrysler is an American automobile manufacturer and is considered one of the big three American automobile manufacturers with General Motors and Ford also falling in this category.

Walter Chrysler founded the company in 1925 out of the dying embers of Maxwell Motor Company, on the verge of failure in the late 1970s Chrysler managed to get out of it and have revived since continuing stronger with new models coming every year and massive revenues being achieved.

On the 1st January 2014 Fiat announced that it would be acquiring the remaining shares to take over Chrysler which could create the potential for new and exciting Chrysler models.

I did not regret contacting Indigo about Car rental services. Car Booking in Scotland

I now live in Australia but travel back to Scotland, my home every year I can, which means hiring a car each time. Having use different hire companies and hiring agencies over the last 30 years, I can truthfully say that Indigo stands out above them all for both value for money and service.I have no problem and do refer Indigo to all my friends when traveling.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
