Car Rental For Young Drivers In Stafford

Are you under 25? Then it can be pretty hard to get your hands on a rental vehicle as most suppliers require that you are not considered as a younger driver for insurance reasons. Even if you do manage to get your hands on a hired vehicle under the age of 25 it can be really expensive in regards to the young driver surcharge, so this is where we decided that we needed to do something to try help get our young drivers behind the wheel without breaking the bank.

We picked up the phone and contacted all the car rental companies in Stafford and nearby areas in order to try and arrange some form of a deal and eventually we had a breakthrough. Under 23?

If you are under 23 then usually you would find it extremely hard to hire however we have managed to arrange an offer that means you can hire from the age of 21 given that you have held your licence for a year prior to doing so. You will however have to pay a young driver additional fee however we will try and keep this to an absolute minimum and we don’t just consider this we consider the overall price of the rental which we will keep as low as possible.

23 Or Over?

We have a fantastic deal for 23 and 24 year olds, this deal is that we can now allow you to hire given that you also have a year driving experience with only a small young driver surcharge. That’s right, Low Young Driver Surcharge! This will save you a large amount of money as often the young driver surcharge is actually more expensive than the rental itself.

EXTREMELY HELPFUL

I have not used Indigo before and was a bit dubious, however my doubts soon went as Joshua was very helpful, polite and patient. My queries were answered quickly and I feel the price was extremely competitive.

The best car hire experience

I was struggling to hire a car for my holiday in Northern Ireland with just a debit card. I tried Indigo car hire. They were very prompt in responding to my email. After a few emails & sorting out what I required, a booking was made. I got back from my week holiday last night & everything was better than I could have expected. Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
