                Mercedes GlcMercedes Glc Car Hire

Under the car naming system at Mercedes-Benz, SUVs use the prefix “Gl”, followed by the cars placement in Mercedes hierarchy. The “G” stands for Geländewagen (Off-road vehicle in german) and a shout out to the G-Wagen. Followed by the letter “L” that acts as a linkage with the letter “C” which basically means the Glc is the Suv equivalent to a Mercedes C-Class.

In my opinion, the best looking Suv that Mercedes offer right now, there is a coupe version but we won’t mention that apart from the fact that it would be the perfect car for Ray Charles or Helen Keller.

The Glc is available with all the usual Mercedes engine options and trim levels and ranges from around £40,000 upto an eye watering £80,000 for the Amg Glc 63s.

How Can I Rent A Mercedes Glc?

We have access to a fleet of prestige vehicles with a well known supplier in the Uk. With locations in most major cities and a meet and greet service at all major airports it is very easy to arrange a rental of the Mercedes Glc.

If you are looking to purchase one but want an extended real world test drive then hiring a Mercedes Glc is the very best way to see if it suits your needs. We can even arrange a Glc with a tow bar so you can give it a thorough test of what you expect your family car to do.

It is always best to contact us when you require a specific model of vehicle, when booking online you will always see the phrase ‘or similar’ meaning if you book that car you could end up with anything in that class like the BMW X3, the Audi Q5 or something else.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
