Minibus hire is becoming more and more popular with more families and groups of friends holidaying in the Uk. There are a limited number of suppliers with Minibuses on fleet meaning they can be quite difficult to get hold of.

We work with a number of suppliers who have a range of multiseat vehicles on fleet ranging from seven seat vehicles right up to the large 17 seat minibuses like the Ford Transit Lwb Minibus.

Whether you require a minibus for a day trip to the beach or if you need to transport your clients around for business you can ensure that Indigo can provide the minibus to suit your requirements. The large majority of our suppliers can offer a 7 or 8 seat minibus hire. We do have other suppliers who are based across the length and breadth of the Uk. We have one supplier who has branches in Edinburgh, Leeds, Enfield and Bristol who have Mercedes Vito Traveliners and Vw Shuttle Transporters on fleet, which are both 9 seat vehicles. We have another few suppliers who can offer minibus hire right upto the 17 seat minibuses.

There are many different variants of the 7 seat minibus. There is the slightly smaller size 7 seat minibus, which has 5 seats and 2 seats at the back which can fold down, an example vehicle would be a Vauxhall Zafira or Ford S Max.The slightly larger 7 seat vehicle is often the better option for transporting people around, an example of the larger size 7 seat vehicle would be like a Ford Galaxy or Vw Sharan.

We have many suppliers across the country who can provide 8 and 9 seat minibuses. The 8 Seat vehicle would tend to be something similar to the Hyundai i800 or the Mercedes Viano. The 9 Seat vehicles can be anything from the Vw Transporter Shuttle to the Ford Tourneo.

We have suppliers throughout the UK who can provide a 12, 15 and 17 seat minibus. For all of these size vehicles, the driver must have either, a D1 category on their driving licence or the driver must have held a full UK driving licence from 1st January 1997. For all minibuses from 8 seat minibus right up to the 17 seat minibus, the minimum age will be 30.

Can I Take The Minibus Abroad?

We can allow all minibuses up to the 9 seat vehicles to go abroad. There is an additional charge for doing this to cover insurance and European breakdown cover. All prices provided are fully inclusive and there are no hidden extras. 12, 15 and 17 minibuses are not permitted to cross borders. We can also provide minibus hire around the world, we can offer minibus hire in the all locations including the Usa, Europe, Asia.

Availability of minibuses can sometimes be very limited, so we would always advise booking your minibus hire as early as possible and with plenty of notice to avoid disappointment.
