Car Hire Aberdeen Airport Without A Credit Card

Trying to hire a car without a credit card can be an utter nightmare, it takes tons of researching and calling around and even then there is only a very minimal chance you will find a company that accept them. Debit cards are one of the most popular card types in the world, however the rental industry usually only accept the use of credit cards as they are much easier to take payment from. We didn’t feel this was right and wanted to do something about it as debit cards are so commonly used.

We looked at negotiating this offer with various different suppliers located both on and off airport and eventually managed to come up with what we though was a brilliant offer for our customers, we can now happily accept debit cards with only limited restrictions we were given by the rental companies we contacted. The restrictions can change depending on supplier and the location. Therefore, we ask that you please call us directly on +44 (0)113 880 0748 or email us at [email protected]. I did not regret contacting Indigo about Car rental services. Car Booking in Scotland

Very helpful staff, Good quality vehicle and a very easy to use process. Only very small criticism was finding the shuttle bus, a phone call is required to find out you need to go to Zone 18, there are signposts telling you the direction to Zone 18 but no actual signs showing where Zone 18 actually is, but even with this very small detail it was a relatively easy process start to finish

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
