                Car Hire Ajaccio

Ajaccio is located on the west coast of the island of Corsica, a French island just off the coast of Italy and France. Only a small portion of Ajaccio is urbanized despite the area of the city being so large, hand in hand with Bastia the city is the economic, commercial and administrative centre of Corsica it also has many main sights that are popular with tourists including those to do with its natural heritage, history with many monuments dedicated to Napoleon who was the emperor of the French from 1804-1815, in the city there are also cinemas, bars and clubs as well as other modern venues that you can visit like casinos.

                What to see in Ajaccio?
There are many monuments you can visit including Place du Casone, the birth house of Napoleon which is now a museum, the old town is definitely something to visit with narrow picturesque buildings and streets, the citadel and many more monuments. Apart from monuments Ajaccio is big for natural locations of interest such as Sanguinaires Archpelago, the Pointe de la Parata, there is also a trail that starts at the city centre and goes across the shores of the gulf which many hikers are interested in.

Should I hire a car in Ajaccio?
Yes you definitely should, Corsica although a medium sized island doesn’t have too many places to visit but it’s a must that you should see them all. There is public transport links to surrounding villages however in order to see it all on a good time scale then car hire is likely the best and cheapest option when you book with us of course. We offer greatly discounted rates as well as great deals such as young driver car hire and debit card car hire which are available at a few locations in Corsica including Ajaccio.

                Young Driver Car Hire Ajaccio

We offer young driver car hire in Ajaccio given that you reach a few of the requirements. If your under 25 and wanting to hire a car you’ll struggle, not at Indigo however we can offer car hire to 21 year olds as long as they have had their licence for a year prior to hiring, we have also on top of this managed to significantly reduce young driver additional daily fees. If you want more information on the restrictions of young driver car hire or just general information then please contact us via email on phone.

                No Deposit Car Hire Ajaccio

Struggling to get the funds together for the holiday, the car hire and wait the deposit that comes with that too? We have found a solution for you, we can hire our cars out without a deposit. Sometimes however car rental with no deposit is unavailable due to low availability during peak season therefore we also arranged a backup offer of low deposit car hire which is just the deposit on the full tank of fuel.

                Debit Card Car Hire Ajaccio

We offer debit card car hire in this location, however, not every type of debit card will be accepted. If you want to check if your card meets all the requirements of debit card car hire then please either call us directly, email us or speak to us by using the live chat function.

The hire was straight forward no problems, the staff where pleasant and helpful. The price was very reasonable. I 'll be using them again.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
