Cherie is the founder of Indigo Car Hire, way back when in June 2009. Having worked in the car hire industry since leaving education, she has racked up nearly 17 years but Ssshhh! Don’t tell anyone.
Been a company director sounds nice and fancy, and of course her daily “tasks” cover pretty much all aspects that come with running a company. However Cherie makes sure that she is still heavily involved in the full enquiry / booking process and customer contact (which, she says is by far the most enjoyable part of the job).
Cherie is really passionate about delivering good customer service, and building excellent relationships with clients both long standing and new. She loves the wide range of customers we deal with, from all parts of the world.
Separate to work, Cherie is Mum to 2 beautiful daughters Abigail & Harriet who often pop into the office to cause havoc and both know the Indigo team well. When she is able to grab some spare time (which is rare), shes likes nothing more than keeping fit and eating well, outside of the office you are most likely to see running the streets of Leeds and spending quality time with the family.

I have used indigo twice so far , I have found car hire in Spain difficult in the past due to unseen costs and upselling making things complicated, sometimes at the point of collection, which is a pain. Matt and Cherie have been straightforward and helpful throughout both experiences and will continue to use indigo in the future, who needs extra stress when travelling ?
