Costa Verde

Costa Verde or also known as the Green Coast due to its English translation. It gets its name green because of its temperature and climate, due to the position of the region it’s wet and has an oceanic climate similar to that of Ireland and Great Britain. Don’t let the weather put you off its still a wonderful place to visit with many places of interest that you must go see! Rain or not it’s a great place to have a fantastic holiday.
Things to do in Costa Verde

Whilst in Costa Verde one of the best places to visit is Noja a small attractive town with historic buildings dating back to 978AD the coastline near Noja spans all the way to the French border. Hiking and cycling are also very common activities in the Costa Verde which is no surprise with the splendid lush environment. Its also within close proximity of Bilbao and Santander which have fantastic museums, astonishing artworks and striking pieces of modern architecture.
Across the coast there are also many great Spanish cuisines, if you are to find yourself visiting a cuisine its vital that you must try Fabada which is the regions classic pork stew and white bean which comes with a glass of dry apple Sidra.

Is hiring a car whilst visiting Costa Verde really worth it?
Definitely, the stretch of coast in the region is massive with various things to do and visit and since the towns are small they are fairly spread apart from each other so if you where to use public transport there’s no way you would be able to visit them all, we offer a cheap car hire solution with our great deals and offers here at Indigo. We offer car hire with a debit card in a handful of locations in Costa Verde but if you want to find out which you must call us, debit card car hire also comes with restrictions in regards to the card because some cards aren’t accepted, such as the card must be a visa debit card.

Young Driver Car Hire Costa Verde

We can now happily announce that our fight against young driver additional fees has paid off in several cases, depending on your location we can lower and even eliminate young driver fees all together. The age and requirements are different for all locations however the guideline age for young drivers in Spain is 21 with 2 years driving experience, but call us in case just to find out if you are eligible.

No Deposit Car Hire Costa Verde

Struggling to get the funds together for the holiday, the car hire and wait the deposit that comes with that too? We have found a solution for you, we can hire our cars out without a deposit. Sometimes however car rental with no deposit is unavailable due to low availability during peak season therefore we also arranged a backup offer of low deposit car hire which is just the deposit on the full tank of fuel.

Good booking experience

I have used Indigo several times and the booking experience is very smooth and customer service reps very responsive. I will continue to use the service. One small value add might be for Indigo to negotiate loyalty rates for repeat customer...just an idea.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
