Debit card car hire doesn’t have to be hard, you’re staring it right in the face. Indigo can now offer car hire Riga airport with a debit card as well as many other locations all over the world, if you want cost effective car hire with great deals whilst using a debit card you have come to the perfect place. Previously car hire without the use of a credit card had been very hard to find until we struck a deal with one of our suppliers to bring you this great service, take advantage of everything Indigo has to offer we organise your car hire from the start of the rental right to the finish completely hassle free all you have to do is give us a call and turn up at the airport ready to collect your car.

When we put forward the deal with the supplier they made us agree to certain card restrictions in order for the card to be eligible. To check if your card will be accepted by the suppliers, please call or email us.

You Must Call Our Reservation Agents if you want debit card car hire as we will not be able to arrange this if you book online as we need to put you with a specific supplier and it needs to be done by phone. If you book online the chances are that you won’t be able to hire with a debit card so please make sure that you book by phone when you come to car hire Porto airport with a debit card.

The best car hire experience

I was struggling to hire a car for my holiday in Northern Ireland with just a debit card. I tried Indigo car hire. They were very prompt in responding to my email. After a few emails & sorting out what I required, a booking was made. I got back from my week holiday last night & everything was better than I could have expected. Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
