This is the second time I've booked with Indigo, and feel the need to submit a positive review again. While making the booking, Connor was excellent in providing a number of options to meet my requirements, which included driving through the Alps, so a need for winter tyres.
On arrival at the airport, I upgraded the vehicle to ensure the vehicle had winter tyres - it later turned out that they were all season tyres (which do not perform as winter tyres). Other than that, the vehicle was fine and served us well throughout the hire.
On returning the vehicle, I took this (winter tyre issue) up at the vehicle return area and then at the rental desk at the terminal. As my flight departure time was rapidly approaching, I had to leave the matter to deal with on my return.
So, again, I got in touch with Connor. He took on board my query and proceeded to take up the matter directly with the rental company. His approach was both professional, and empathetic.
The lesson learned from my side is to check the vehicle when taking it out, then check again.
From time-to-time things will go wrong and it is comforting to know Indigo staff will go the extra mile to fix things - it's great to know they will fight your corner.
I've just been notified I will be refunded the upgrade and as a result I immediately wrote this review.
So, what could have been a 2-3* review, has to be 5* in my opinion - well handled Connor - give the man a pay rise!
