Austria’s capital city Vienna offers a broad range of accommodations. Road Trip starting from Vienna

There is the Therme Linsberg Asia in Lower Austria where body and mind are found to have a lot to gain by drawing inspiration from oriental views.
- After chilling at the Therme head south to Südsteiermark for the South Styrian Wine Road. En route is Riegesberg, a medieval castle built on a volcanic rock in the Styrian region of Vulkanland. And then on to Gamlitz, in central South Styria where you can choose to dine out at a Wirtshaus restaurant, Heuriger wine tavern, or a Buschenschank this is a homely wine tavern which is well known for the atmosphere. One to check out on the route, a great range of wines and food to enjoy! What’s not to like…
- Next on the itinerary is Kitzeck im Sausal where you can visit winery and wine taverns. Genusshof Kilger, Weingut Kodolitsch, and Kogel 3 are a selection of Winery’s and wine taverns and also restaurants in this area and well worth visiting.
- Then onto the Styrian capital Graz, Austria’s second-largest city with the Old Town designated as a Unesco World Heritage Site. The architecture contrasts the modern with the medieval and a walk to Uhrturm (clock tower), allows an incredible vista onto the city.
- After leaving Graz, drive down to the alpine town of Filzmoos in Salzburg State which is approx 190K this allows for discovering the Northern Limestone Alps.
- Speaking of hiking there is the attraction of the region’s Alm culture with livestock grazing in the high alpine pastures with mountain pasture huts welcoming hikers for a tasty snack and somewhere pleasant to take a well-earned rest. Then on from Filzmoos to the 48km Grossglockner High Alpine Road and into Hohe Tauern National Park and to the base of the Grossglockner, Austria’s highest mountain. Heiligenblut is the southern gateway to the Großglockner Hochalpenstraße, or you can continue the drive to either Lienz or Matrei in Osttirol.
- Another destination of interest is Mayrhofen, a charming alpine town in Tyrol, the perfect base for exploring the celebrated Zillertal Alps, a hiker’s paradise. Rather than go directly to Lech am Arlberg from Mayrhofen you can take the more scenic route via the Bschlaber Landesstrasse and the Hahntennjoch saddle, which cuts through the Lechtal Alps. While Lech am Arlberg is famous as a ski resort town because it is placed between the Lechquellen Mountains to the west and the Lechtal Alps to the east with both ranges accessible directly from the town via cableways and seasonal buses.
- Then continue west to Brandnertal, a valley in the Austrian State of Vorarlberg and the gateway to the Rätikon, a limestone mountain range that spans the border between Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. The last leg of the itinerary, before returning to Vienna, goes back east to the Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck between the Karwendel Mountains and the Tux Alps.Take in the Golden Roof, the city’s landmark in the heart of the old town, and the Imperial Hofburg with the Hofkirche and Hofgarten and, of course, the imposing Nordkette at over 2,000 meters above sea level

The service was good, and there were no major issues. I would recommend them.
The only issue I have is with the cars themselves. Peugeot 2008 looks nice, but that's as far as it goes. Not a great car to own/use. Same with Vauxhall Astra's, just poorly designed cars.
When I hired a Nissan Juke previously. absolutely amazing, and so was the ford Focus. Not sure why Car Hire Companies, opt for the cheap crappy ones to rent out.
