I was quite dubious when booking and straight after I as it seem waay to stress free and easy. I was having nothing but bad luck finding a rental place that accepted debit cards and so was surprised that I wasnt asked to bring my whole life history along or do a credit check, I felt there had to be some kind of catch! Matt who organised my rental was very helpful and reassuring and advised that all was in order and that if I had any issues on the day I could call him there and then.
The staff at Avis/Budget were very friendly and all the appropriate paperwork and key handover was done swiftly.
One downside was that I booked a Vauxhall Astra or simular and on arrival I was offered a Citroen Cactus (now if your not too much of a car snob im sure this means nothing to you) however not too impressed with the vehicle choice I was offered an upgrade for an extra £10 a day to an Audi. I was more than happy to accept this and the car I received was a delight! I even extended the rental for one extra day as I didn't want to give it back lol! My deposit was returned to my account within 3 working days no problems. Cheers Matt!
So after finding out last minute that car rental places in Europe don't take debit card I found Indigo though a website. Don't think they could have looked after me any better. Above and beyond to make sure I got sorted out. Cannot thank them enough. Dealt with Matt. Extremely helpful and friendly. I'll be using these guys again no doubt!!
