                Car Hire Hamilton Airport

Hamilton is a prominent city in New Zealand, both in its size and what it has to offer. Be it with a stroll through the gardens, or dining on the food, there’s something for everyone. If you are looking to travel, a car hire in Hamilton airport is undoubtedly the most convenient and reliable method of transportation.

                Debit Card Car Hire

There’s nothing more inconvenient than planning the location you’ll visit and the things you’ll see, only to find that you’re unable to travel effectively. Even public transport isn’t always an option without mentioning the unreliability. But without a credit card, a fair few suppliers will not accept that as a valid payment. Fortunately, Indigo works with plenty of suppliers happy to offer a debit card car hire. An important note is that you must contact us directly to arrange for this.

Low Deposit / No Deposit Car Hire

Managing and keeping up with a budget set for yourself is hard enough to manage on your own, never mind whilst on a trip. Why not let Indigo ease the load? From a low deposit car hire, we may be able to pass the transportation savings onto you. More than that, depending on what the supplier has available, a no deposit car hire could be an even better option.

                Senior Driver Car Hire

Drivers 75 years of age or above are welcome to use our senior driver car hire service. Although there might be restrictions on this service’s availability and sporadic additional fees, we always make sure that all fees are fully disclosed to you when you make your reservation. Throughout the entire rental procedure, your comfort and safety are our top priority.

                Contact Us

                Car Hire Hamilton Airport FAQs
How to hire a car without credit card?

Rent a car without a debit card is possible, our best answer is to just contact our reservations team we can for sure arrange a car hire if you only have a debit card. Worth noting the debit card does need to be in the drivers name.

How much notice do I need to give?

Ideally 24 hours notice is ideal, but we can arrange a car hire with as little as 2 hours notice as long as the rental location has a car available. We will of course be more than happy to accommodate any same day rental requests. Get in touch with our team so we can help.

What ID do I need to collect my car?

When collecting the car local customers will need Drivers Licence, DVLA Share Code, 2 x Proofs of address and a payment card in the drivers name. For overseas customers (Inbound Customers), the driver will need to have Drivers Licence, DVLA Share code if on a UK Licence, Passport, Payment Card and return flight ticket. Some suppliers do not require any proofs of address as long as you pass a soft address check. If you have any questions relating to ID we advise to book over the phone with our team rather than online to ensure you have the correct ID.

How long will my deposit take to come back?

As soon as you return the car the security deposit is released / refunded at the car hire suppliers end, however it normally takes between 7-10 working days for the deposit to show in your account but the time really does just depend on how quickly your bank updates your account. The rental suppliers do not have any control on how long it takes.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
