                Car Hire Blenheim Airport

Also known as Marlborough Airport, it is a great option for serving as the basis for where your trip will soon take you! From enjoying the nightlife of the adjacent towns to going on a wine-tasting tour, we’re happy to offer a car hire at Blenheim airport (just make sure to save the wine for after you’ve driven).

                Debit Card Car Hire

Indigo Car Hire is here to provide you with a seamless car hire experience. We’re proud to be offering car rentals with debit cards, which ensures a smooth payment process that does not require any credit card. It’s safe to say that there are no additional fees or charges involved. Because of the nature of a debit card car hire it is best that you send us an enquiry so that we can arrange this for you.

Low Deposit / No Deposit Car Hire

In order to effectively manage and (most importantly) stick to a travel budget, you must be flexible where possible. One way in which we hope to support that is with a low deposit car hire, hopefully, to save you more on travel expenses. We may even be able to take it a step further with a no deposit car hire, however, this is heavily subject to the supplier and if they can even provide it.

                Senior Driver Car Hire

Whether you’ve experienced renting a vehicle over the age of 75 first hand or are simply cautious of the age restrictions in place, that isn’t something you need to worry about. We work with suppliers who are happy to provide a senior driver car hire to suit your specific needs.

                Contact Us

Of course, though there may be some questions and concerns regarding what is possible and when we have been able to support other customers in this regard, feel free to contact us or send us an email at [email protected] and call us at +44 (0)113 880 0748.

                Car Hire Blenheim Airport FAQs
How to hire a car without credit card?

Rent a car without a debit card is possible, our best answer is to just contact our reservations team we can for sure arrange a car hire if you only have a debit card. Worth noting the debit card does need to be in the drivers name.

How long will my deposit take to come back?

As soon as you return the car the security deposit is released / refunded at the car hire suppliers end, however it normally takes between 7-10 working days for the deposit to show in your account but the time really does just depend on how quickly your bank updates your account. The rental suppliers do not have any control on how long it takes.

                Can my car be delivered?

We only offer delivery and collection on 7 day plus rentals in selected parts of the UK, we do however offer a pick up service throughout the UK. This means you will be collected from your home address and taken to the nearest rental location to complete the handover of the car. This service is not available to book online, please reach out to our reservations team to request this service.

What ID do I need to collect my car?

When collecting the car local customers will need Drivers Licence, DVLA Share Code, 2 x Proofs of address and a payment card in the drivers name. For overseas customers (Inbound Customers), the driver will need to have Drivers Licence, DVLA Share code if on a UK Licence, Passport, Payment Card and return flight ticket. Some suppliers do not require any proofs of address as long as you pass a soft address check. If you have any questions relating to ID we advise to book over the phone with our team rather than online to ensure you have the correct ID.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
