                A popular car and make up a large majority of the fleet, the Corsa is the perfect car for any situation for a small amount of passengers and luggage, there are both 3 door and 5 door models available of this car. The Corsa is an established model with being in the industry since 1982.

                Fiat Punto

                Typically 3 doors and 4 seats it’s one of the smaller in the economy group, it gets great mileage and is a reliable brand and a well-known car. There are a few different versions of the Punto on fleet you could be given with different engine sizes.

                Volkswagen Polo

                Manufactured by Volkswagen is there anything else that needs to be said? The polo has been in production since 1975 and is a trustworthy great car with 5 doors and 5 seats suitable to carry around 3 large suitcases. In 2010 the Vw Polo won the world car of the year award.

                Hyundai i20

                The new kid on the block the Hyundai has been in production since 2008 but is now a major competitor in the economy group. Its available in both Auto and Manual with 5 doors, 5 seats and suitable for 3 large suitcases, it gets a great mileage and has low fuel emissions.

                Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

                If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

                When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

                Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

                Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

                In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
