Easter Bank Holiday Travel

Winter has finally come and gone, which means the countdown to summer has begun! Though in the meantime, we get some slight respite from the drab and dreary winter season during spring. What better way to celebrate the new season than by taking advantage of the long easter weekend? Landing between a Good Friday and Easter Monday, 4 days to yourself is always something to look forward to. In fact, why not make the most of this Easter bank holiday with a short getaway trip in some decent weather?

Of course, we are more than happy to facilitate your trip, whether that’s with this guide to give you some inspiration, or even through a number of our services. If this trip is impromptu then you’re naturally going to need some form of travel on demand – naturally, that’s where we come in! But first things first is the hardest decision. Where do you even go?

England – Bath

Although not known for its good weather, for a short trip (especially if you live domestically), is perfectly convenient. Bath in England is the go-to place when it comes to relaxation. In fact, it was built by the Romans to suit this very purpose. But what makes Bath so appealing in spring is the combination of nature in bloom and places for TLC. Though not as flashy as other destinations, the convenience of arriving and travelling with a car hire in Bath is.

Netherlands – Keukenhof

When you think of Tulips, naturally, the first country you think of is the Netherlands. You can see for yourself why the country has developed such a reputation for this in the Keukenhof Gardens in South Holland. Located directly between Amsterdam and Leiden, it serves as the perfect spot to continue the tradition of visiting this one-of-a-kind place during Easter.

Malta – Valletta

The spiritual celebration of Easter is something often overlooked during this time of year but is nonetheless a celebration worth experiencing. Malta, with its long catholic history, is of course a place rife with Easter celebrations. Valletta, in particular, has a lot to offer for tourists and travellers, including some fantastic weather. Even with a car hire in Malta, we have a comprehensive guide to driving in Malta that will give you everything you need to know about driving abroad.

Where Can You Start?

As nice as an Easter bank holiday is, the call for a getaway abroad is equally as attractive. And we want to do our part in ensuring that it goes as smoothly as possible for you. Whether you’re concerned about being too old, young, inexperienced, or don’t have a valid payment method, we offer:

Of course, though there may be some questions and concerns regarding what is possible and when – feel free to contact us by sending us an email at [email protected] and call us at +44 (0)113 880 074 or hear from our other satisfied customers.
