We now have a large supplier in Dubai that will accept payments Debit Cards. Just like other countries where we can arrange this, there are certain requirements that the debit card must meet. However, the biggest difference to other debit card offerings is the way the deposit works. The supplier requires a deposit of 3500 Dirhams (Currently around £750), this is not frozen on the card but physically taken as a deposit transaction, this will be returned when the vehicle is checked in safe and sound but could take up to 30 days to hit your account, yes this is a long time but currently is the only way we can arrange rental cars without a credit card in the Uae.
