Following booking a debit card car hire Lamezia, one of our clients had landed at Lamezia Airport he then jumped into a taxi to the downtown location. To his surprise, he arrived at the branch in Lamezia and found that all of the shutters were down and there was no sign of the staff members at the Avis branch. The customer, obviously distraught and confused as to why the branch was not open, contacted Indigo Car Hire directly to establish why this had occurred.

As we were not aware of another supplier who would accept Visa Debit cards we explained to the client that it may be a more viable option to go back up to the airport and speak with an alternative supplier and try to establish if they accept debit cards for car hire. Thankfully the customer was able to collect a car from an alternative supplier and is happily away on his holidays now. If it had not been for the intervention of the Indigo team the customer would have well and truly been stranded in Lamezia without a car.
