Avis Budget Group Open The Express Lane

Avis Budget Group today announced that Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental customers who utilize the “Pay Now” option on to pay for their rentals in advance, can now benefit from a new expedited check-out service. These customers can now utilize the new express lane at Avis and Budget rental counters and complete the process of getting into their rental vehicles more quickly.

“Customers typically choose to pay for their rentals in advance as a way to lock in discounted rates. For example, taking advantage of Budget’s Pay Now rates in San Francisco can save customers approximately £5 to £30 on a daily rental, or approximately £20 to £80 for a weekend rental,” said Tom Gartland, president, North America, Avis Budget Group. “We’re happy to enhance our Pay Now option and enable customers to save money and time, so they can make the most out of their business or leisure travels.”

Pay Now expedited check-out is available at more than 100 rental facilities across United States, including Albany, Albuquerque, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Denver, Dallas, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Tulsa and Washington, D.C.

Speaking Of Speeding things up, Avis Budget Group recently announced that Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental customers can now rent portable Wi-Fi devices in twelve European countries. The new offering provides customers with access to 1GB of data per day without the fear of incurring roaming charges when traveling throughout Europe.

Users can connect up to five devices at the same time, including smartphones, tablets, laptops and other Wi-Fi-enabled gadgets. The units offer a download speed of 21.6 Mbps for a simple, fast and reliable way to conduct video conferences, access documents, surf the web, stream movies and access social media sites.

“Our new mobile Wi-Fi units are compact and portable so that they can be taken out of the car and into the hotel, business meeting, restaurant, campsite or even the beach — all with uninterrupted connectivity,” said Larry De Shon, president, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Avis Budget Group. “It’s a hassle-free and cost-effective way for travelers to stay connected — and another way we ‘put the customer first.'”

We hope to see these services rolled out to their worldwide locations over the next year or so… If you would like more information about this service then please dont hesitate to contact us before making a booking.

Having worked in the car rental industry for over 15 years, he really knows his stuff. Rob heads up our marketing department and as a keen traveller, always has a new location to talk about. Particularly if there is a golf course nearby.
