                5+2 Seat Rental Cars

There are only a few 5+2 seaters on the range. Please keep in mind when you book a 5+2 they are not true 7 seater cars as they aren’t generally as big. They are great for anyone with a family between 5 and 7 people who need a lot of space for their luggage as they are much more spacious than standard cars.

In general the specifications for 5+2 group cars are …..

                Passengers: 7 People
Suitable Amount Of Luggage: 2-3 Suitcases
                Doors: 5
                Transmission: Manual and Automatic Available
                Air Conditioning Equipped
                Fuel: Diesel or Petrol

                5+2 Seaters

Some examples of the cars in our 5+2 range include….

                Mitsubishi Grandis
                Mitsubishi Grandis 5+2 Seater

Started production in 2003 the Mitsubishi Grandis is an established 7 seater that’s well known with good sales, reliability and reviews. It’s a popular choice all over the world including in the car hire industry, book one today with Indigo Car Hire.

                Volkswagen Touran
                Volkswagen Touran 5+2 Seater

The Touran, well it’s a Volkswagen so it’s naturally a great car. It’s much like a larger version of a golf, it also has a fantastic Euro Ncap safety test rating score with it being one of the safest 5+2 seaters on the road currently.

                Vauxhall Zafira
                Opel Zafira

This multi purpose vehicle has been produced from 1999, we are currently on the third generation of the Zafira in our fleet which is an improvement on the older versions with a larger engine and an increase in size that makes it suitable for the fleet.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
