Honda History

Founded on September 24th 1948 in Hamamatsu, Japan by Soichiro Honda and Takeo Fujisawa. Honda saw their chance at success in 1986 when they gained ground in the American market. Honda have however taken a slight dip recently but seem to be recovering from it with sales going back up in 2012 quite significantly.

Honda was the eighth largest automobile manufacturer in the world in 2011 and was the first Japanese manufacturer to release a dedicated luxury brand, Acura.
