Once outside, cross at the crossing, over the 2 roads and turn left, follow the road as it bends to the left. Our hope is that the system is reconfigured in the future, with luggage and children in tow, this collection procedure is less than ideal. Once you have arrived at the car hire carpark, located your car and conducted the prerequisite checks for none pre declared damage, you will need to navigate a somewhat confusing one-way system, and exit the car park via the barriers. We hope from here your onward journey will be plain sailing.

As an aside to the above we wanted to share a little anecdote about the return. Frequently we will be required the hire car at some unearthly hour, in preparation for an early flight. On our recent trip we returned the car out of hours and shuffled back to the terminal somewhat bleary eyed, it was then onwards, up the escalator to the departures hall. We consider it a moment of fortune to realise prior to proceeding through security that the hire car key was still in the driver’s pocket. In summary, do not fly home with the car key. It happens and when it does it is costly to deal with the fallout.
