Cheaper Fuel With Indigo Car Hire

Fuel prices have always been a cause for concern, continually rising to an expense so high it even puts some of us off driving. Fuel was never that cheap but now it’s just ridiculous, and when you’re on your holidays you need to hire a car in order to get around and with the cost of that and the petrol as well as any other extras and of course the cost of your holiday, it all begins to add up rapidly. So why don’t you save yourself a few pennies with our new deal?

Indigo Car Hire have managed to negotiate a deal with a supplier which allows us to sell fuel when you hire a car cheaper than what it would be if you went directly to the major fuel pumps! But just how much will you save by booking with Indigo?

It’s time for another little case study.

Our full tank of fuel is priced at £1.25/p Litre when you hire a car through us, here are the prices of fuel for your average small, medium and large car on unleaded petrol.

Small Car – A small car on average is approximately 40 litres for a full tank that would cost you a total of £50.00

Medium Car – A medium car on average is around 55 litres which makes the cost of a full tank of fuel rise to £68.75

Large Car – Larger cars are usually around 65 litres on an average which bring the full tank of fuel to a cost of £81.25

Now let’s compare these prices with some of the popular petrol stations around the company, we have chosen BP, Asda and Morison’s to compare the price of our fuel to theirs.

Asda – They are currently £1.36 for a litre of unleaded fuel that would make the full tank of fuel for the different sized cars cost: £54.40/small, £74.80/medium, £88.40/large quite a bit higher than Indigos price.

BP – The current price £1.32 which is lower than Asda and that means the full tank of fuel costs: Small/£52.80, Medium/£72.60 and Large/£85.80.

Morison – The current price today for Morison’s is £1.38 that makes the prices: Small/£55.20, Medium/£75.90 and a large/£89.70.

Therefor you would make a huge saving when you book with us an buy a full tank of fuel beforehand, as an average of all these three major fuel companies
Here are the averages for the larger companies for a full tank of fuel:

Small: £54.1
Medium: £74.4
Large: £88

Where as for Indigo which you can see above you make a saving of:

Small: £4.10
Medium: £5.65
Large: £6.75

If you are interested in buying this fuel through Indigo and saving some money on your rental car please let us know and we will arrange it for you straight away!
