Now South Korea’s second largest automobile manufacturer falling just behind Hyundai Motor Company, Kia Motors Corporation was first founded on June 9th 1944, Kia is now however 32.8% owned by the largest automobile manufacturer in South Korea, Hyundai.
The company has seen huge growth in recent years starting since 1992 where it was incorporated within the United States and then in 2005 when it decided to focus the European market, both where of great success.
