The popular Sunny Coast or more commonly known Costa del Sol is in the south of Spain and is a world renowned tourist destination since the 20th century. Costa del Sol used to be a small fishing town until it was transformed and revamped and now it’s one of the most popular tourist destinations in the whole of Europe. Costa del Sol also includes the popular city of Malaga which attracts tourists all over the year as it has one of the warmest winters in Europe so there’s not a dull time of the year at Malaga or the “sunny” coast.
The millions of annual tourists come from all over the world to visit the stretch of coastline that’s full of resorts and various places to see and go with nearly a 100 towns that you can visit all different from one another. A popular thing to do in the Costa is golf there are over 50 golf courses around the area perfect for those golf fans. There are also several stunning national parks, adventurous activities, bars and clubs, Picasso Museum and some of the world’s best restaurants. You’ll never run out of things to do on the Sunny Coast.
The easiest way to get to the Costa del Sol is through Malaga international airport which is a couple of miles out of the main city.
