                About Winnipeg Airport

Winnipeg Airport, also known as Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport,is the eighth busiest airport in Canada by passenger traffic, serving 3.4 million passengers in 2011. In 2012, Winnipeg International Airport’s main passenger terminal was selected by the Travel Channel as one of the most iconic airport terminal buildings in the world.

Winnipeg’s relatively isolated geographical location in relation to other major population centres makes Winnipeg International Airport the primary international airport for a very large area. As such, it is used as a gateway to areas including the entire province of Manitoba and large parts of neighbouring provinces and territories Saskatchewan, Northwestern Ontario and Nunavut. Along with flights to major cities across Canada, the Usa, the Caribbean, and Mexico, non-stop flights to numerous small remote communities in Northern Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario and Nunavut are served from the airport.

                Why Choose Indigo Car Hire?

Along with our fantastic reviews we also have great prices and services, we can get amazing prices because the way in which we work as we can compare all the best prices suitable to you and then apply our various offers and discounts in order to make the price even cheaper than the original. Another service we have is the ability to freeze the price when you book, this means that between the time you book and the time you pick up the hired vehicle we can alert you if the price drops any lower than the original in which we can then amend the booking and save you even more.

Here at Indigo we have managed to arrange several offers in our time in the rental industry and we have always aimed at arranging offers which make car hire more available to a wider audience of people. Some of the bet offers we have managed to come up with are…

                Debit Card Car Hire

Hiring a car without a credit card is a real struggle, many people don’t like using credit cards or just don’t have one so we looked at arranging a deal for these people. The deal we managed to come up with was debit card car hire, this comes with a few big restrictions.

                No Deposit

Arriving at Winnipeg, holiday paid, car rental paid and oh wait there’s a massive deposit on the hired car? Some people just can’t afford the huge deposit car hire entails but now you don’t have to when you book with Indigo, we have a great offer of no deposit car rental.

                Free Gps

If you don’t know Winnipeg that well it may be worth taking us up on our free Gps offer, why not it’s free? A Gps can be really useful and it means that you don’t have to spend your holiday negotiating a map or getting lost every other corner just use our free Gps and make the most of your holidays.

                Free Unlimited Mileage Car Hire

Planning a holiday in which you are going to do a lot of travelling? Maybe its worth taking our unlimited mileage option as several companies only allow a certain amount of miles per day. Have a great holiday and don’t be tied down by mileage when you hire a car with Indigo.

Car Hire fro Over 70's Canada

Excellent service thank you. Despite paying a little more because of my age, which we expected, we received an upgrade in both instances at no extra expense. The only problem encountered is that I am having problems retrieving my CAD500 deposit from Avis because of some glitch in their accounting system

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
