About Malmo Sturup Airport
Malmö Airport, formerly known as Malmö Sturup Airport is Sweden’s fifth busiest airport, located in Svedala Municipality, approximately 17 miles east of Malmö and 16 miles south-east of Lund.
A modern and efficient airport, the 24-hour Malmo Sturup International Airport provides a gateway to the Oresund region of Sweden. As the country’s third biggest airport, Malmo Sturup serves a variety of domestic Swedish cities, as well as handling charter flights to Eu destinations such Hungary and the United Kingdom.
Located on the far south-eastern side of Malmo and close to both Genarp and Klagerup, Sturup Airport is also particularly near to Copenhagen International Airport which is a mere 34 miles away. A number of low-cost carriers operate here from its single terminal building.
