                Costa Blanca

The White Coast or more commonly known as Costa Blanca is the Mediterranean coastline in the Alicante province within Spain. The name originated actually from an advertising campaign from an old airline company Bea, it was used to advertise their service between London and Costa Blanca. Much like all the other Costa’s it has wonderful beaches that attract millions of yearly tourists, most likely the most tourists out of anywhere else in Spain.

The Costa ranges from Denia all the way to Torrevieja/Murcia. There are several places of interest along the way that if you are visiting Costa Blanca you must visit! One being Elche which is said to be the palm tree capital of the world making it a beautiful place, There is also Benidorm which has tons of attractions and places to visit within such as the attractions like Altea and Calpe. Travel along the coast and experience a new village which is entirely different from the next every day.

What to do in Costa Blanca?
There are several things to do in Costa Blanca, here are some of my personal favourites.
Golf – There is a large amount of golf resorts in Costa Blanca with some of the best courses in the world, grab a tourist information leaflet and it will tell you all you need to know about them.

Visit Seaside Villages and Towns – There are several different seaside villages like Quesada, Guardamar and Santa Pola each different from one another so try visit as many as you can.

Benidorm Resorts and Chocolate! – Benidorm is a popular location to visit for many and as explained previous the resorts are great, if you do find yourself in Benidorm then try the chocolate, its world renowned for a reason!

Do I Need to hire a car in Costa Blanca?
The answer simply to this is yes, the Coast stretches a large distance over 120 miles with tons of locations on the way that you must visit, if you do arrange any other form of travel it is most likely going to cost you more especially with Indigos great prices. We also have amazing offer for our customers to take advantage of such as young driver car hire and debit card car hire that I will break down for you.

No Deposit Car Hire Costa Blanca

Struggling to get the funds together for the holiday, the car hire and wait the deposit that comes with that too? We have found a solution for you, we can hire our cars out without a deposit. Sometimes however car rental with no deposit is unavailable due to low availability during peak season therefore we also arranged a backup offer of low deposit car hire which is just the deposit on the full tank of fuel.

Costa Blanca Car Hire With A Debit Card

Can I hire a car in Costa Blanca with a debit card? That’s a common question that we get and yes you can, we have several debit card locations in Costa Blanca such as Alicante or Murcia with many more, this changes depending on the location but we can do debit card car hire at most locations. There are some restrictions however such as you must have a Visa Debit card.

Young Driver Car Hire Costa Blanca

We offer car hire in Costa Blanca to those who are 21 and over, Indigo have been fighting hard to try reduce the cost of our young driver car hire additional fees and in many places we have managed to do so, we also have managed in certain occasions to completely eliminate young driver car hire fees.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
