Collection Procedure
The Ideal Car Hire Kings Cross office is ‘idealy’ situated between St Pancras Station and Islington just off Pentonville Road. Collecting your vehicle could not be simpler, once you have confirmed your booking just make your way to the office address where your vehicle will be waiting for you.
Ideal also offer delivery & collection within the M25 and this service is free for all hires over 7 days. If you would like your vehicle delivered there are certain restrictions in place that we can discuss in more detail with you. If you are looking to hire for less than 7 days then delivery may still be possible but there will be a small fee of £10 each way.
Vehicle Range At Kings Cross Locations
There is a varied range of vehicles available from the Kings Cross location from the small city cars like the Fiat 500, Ford Ka and Hyundai i10, Midrange vehicles like the Vauxhall Astra and Ford Focus up to larger family cars like the Skoda Octavia and Ford Mondeo. Other vehicles available include people carriers 7 & 9 seaters and prestige models like the Audi A1 and A4.

Accepted Payments
Ideal Car Hire only accept payment via a credit card in the drivers name, this card must be registered to the address on the hirers driving licence.
Cash is not accepted by any suppliers however we do have some suppliers with locations in London that will allow you to debit card car hire.
Age Restrictions
Ideal Car Hire have an upper age limit of 70 years old, which is quite common but if you are older than this, we can arrange rentals senior driver car hire through other suppliers up to the age of 99.
Their minimum age limit is 22 which is lower than most, but be aware if you are younger than 25 then you will liable for a young driver surcharge of £12 per day. Compared to other suppliers charges this is quite low, but if you are interested in young driver car hire then please contact us before making a booking as we may be able to arrange a rental with a supplier that does not charge a fee for being under 25.
