Collection Procedure
The Ideal Car Hire Dalston office is located just off Kingsland Road in North London and is within close proximity to both Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction tube stations. Collecting your vehicle is very simple, when you have confirmed your reservation just make your way to the Dalston office where the vehicle you have reserved will be waiting for you.
Ideal Car Hire also offer delivery and collection services within the M25 boundary and this is free of charge for all hires over 7 days. There are some criteria that you need to pass to qualify for delivery which we can discuss in more detail with you. If your rental is for less than 1 week then delivery and collection may still be possible but there will be a small fee of £10 each way.
Vehicle Range At Dalston Locations
There is a wide range of hire cars available from the Dalston location from the small cars like the Peugeot 107 and Fiat 500, Midrange vehicles like the Volkswagen Golf and Hyundai i30 up to larger family cars like the Vauxhall Insignia and Volkswagen Passat. Other vehicles include 7 & 9 seater people carriers, prestige models like the Audi A1 and A4 and a small selection of Vans.

Accepted Payments
Ideal Car Hire only accept payment by a credit card in the drivers name, the credit card must be registered at the address on the main drivers licence.
Suppliers in the UK do not accept cash but we do have some suppliers with locations in and around London who do allow our customers to pay with certain types of debit card.
Age Restrictions
The maximum age limit to hire from Ideal is 70 years old, which is quite common in the United Kingdom. If like many of our customers you are older than this, don.t worry because through other suppliers we can arrange senior driver car hire up to the age of 99.
The lower age limit with Ideal is 22 which is younger than most other suppliers, but please be aware; if you are younger than 25 you will have to pay a young driver car hire fee of £12 p/day. This is quite cheap compared to some suppliers in London, but if you are under 25 years old please contact us dirfectly before making a reservation as we may be able to provide a hire car without a young driver fee depending on your location.
