                Car Hire Larnaca Airport

Larnaca airport is an international airport located just a few miles outside Larnaca, Cyprus. The airport is Cyprus’ largest and main international gateway being just ahead of its rival airport Paphos international airport. The airport gets approximately 5.2 million passengers a year and is on the rise, the airport flies to several locations across Europe by the means of several different airlines. The airport has also recently had a massive revamp and upgrade costing a total of 650 million euros, the airport is also popularly used as a hub for people travelling between Europe and the middle east as a fuelling station.

Cyprus in previous years however has become a major tourist destination causing the amount of passengers at Larnaca airport to continually rise. Larnaca is a city on the south coast of Cyprus and is the third largest city on the island falling behind Nicosia and Limassol however theres no lack of anything to do with the large amount of Arts, Music, Sports, Festivals, Museums, Cuisine and main sights that you can visit.

Should I Hire A Car At Larnaca Airport?
Larnaca airport has relatively good transport links between the city and the airport however its advised that you hire a car because you can see so much more of the beautiful island on your holiday. The island from one side to another is only approximately a 3 hour drive so with a hired car you can go anywhere you like in a day, if you are wanting to hire a car then the best thing is to come straight to Indigo, we offer great deals like young driver car hire and one way car hire.

Young Driver Car Hire Larnaca Airport

We offer young driver car hire from Larnaca airport from the age of 21 but you must have 3 years experience unfortunately. There is also a young driver additional fee if you are under 25 however we always try our hardest to keep this to an absolute minimum.

One Way Car Hire Larnaca Airport

We offer one way car hire from Larnaca airport meaning that you can pick it up at the airport and drop it off at another location on the island in order to save costs if you only want the car for a set period of time or to get you from one destination to another. If you want to find out what locations we can supply one ways too then its best that you call us directly.

Struggling to get the funds together for the holiday, the car hire and wait the deposit that comes with that too? We have found a solution for you, we can hire our cars out without a deposit. Sometimes however car rental with no deposit is unavailable due to low availability during peak season therefore we also arranged a backup offer of low deposit car hire which is just the deposit on the full tank of fuel.

Debit Card Car Hire Larnaca Airport

Most car hire companies only allow you to hire a car using a credit card, which is inconvenient to say the least for many. We looked at arranging a deal so we could make car hire more widely available and managed to come up with this, car hire with a debit card at Larnaca airport. There are certain restrictions in regards to this however if you want more information feel free to call or email us directly.

                Great service

Rob Selby was a great help and sorted my car hire out quickly.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
