Driving has its ups and downs, it can be stressful at times but majority of people enjoy driving. It’s not a small percentage of us that don’t however, in fact 33% of drivers admit that they no longer enjoy driving, there are many things putting people off which could possibly impact future car sales, a forecast for the potential future if things don’t make an improvement perhaps?

Fifty one percent of the drivers who don’t enjoy driving admit that its due to the price of fuel, it costs so much it takes the enjoyment out of it! This isn’t surprising however with the cost of a litre of unleaded averagaing at around £1.31, even driving as efficiently as you can its still now very expensive to run a vehicle. A further forty one percent are put off by congestion with it becoming more and more of an issue here in the UK and the average time for journeys rising that’s also a viable reason, the last of the main reasons for people no longer enjoying their driving experience is they don’t always feel relaxed when someone is in the front.

This is problematic as cars for most people are an essential part of life and a large chunk of your time is spent sat in your vehicle. It needs to be enjoyable so the tips are simply to minimise the factors that you find stressful, drive as efficiently as possible saving money on fuel, avoid travelling at busy times and relax take your time on your journey. Other people find issues like breakdowns extremely stressful so they drive in fear of breaking down, but if you maintain your vehicle well then there is no need to be worried, fix the small problems with your vehicle before they become bigger which is often the more expensive option but worth it in the long run.
